Kirk is a certified Yoga Instructor with Dharma Yoga, which is an awareness-based, mindful and relaxing approach to Yoga, combining both technique, breath awareness and exploration of spiritual themes. Kirk brings over 20 years of life immersion in a wide variety of fitness areas including Martial Arts, P90X, Running, Cycling and Triathlons. Kirk has 5 years of dedicated yoga practice behind him, with a lifelong practice ahead. He was first introduced to Yoga as a practitioner of P90X Fitness, and evolved from a more traditional workout to embracing a new way to think about the relationship between the outer body and the inner spirit as a more balanced approach to health and fitness. Kirk respects the spiritual aspect of Yoga, which opens the door to health, fitness and life as a complete mind, body, spirit transformative experience. Kirk presents Yoga as a fun, challenging, and potentially life-transforming workout for both body and heart, an opportunity to slow down for just a moment, breathe and reconnect with the body amidst the ever increasing pace of life in our hyper-hectic culture
